Blissful Healing Explorations & Yoga Nidra Series
This series has been specially created for those who wish to enter a healing sanctuary for their heart, body, and soul, with a focus on their personal healing intentions, whatever they may be.
Together, we will explore healing practices from various traditions in conjunction with gentle yogic and restorative poses, and enjoy the blessings of yoga nidra, the easiest yoga of all, which will take you on a deeply relaxing and revitalizing journey through the physical, energetic, emotional/mental, wisdom, and blissful layers of your being. As you allow yourself to move into profound levels of relaxation, healing will happen naturally and effortlessly.
Highlights of this series will include:
AS A BONUS, all these classes will be recorded, so if you miss a class, you won’t miss a thing! The class recordings will remain available to everyone until the end of June, allowing you to enjoy the various practices numerous times if you wish to repeat them. If the dates and times of this series do not work for you, you have the option of registering for the VIRTUAL option only: the recording link(s) will be sent to you each week.
AS ANOTHER EXTRA BONUS, the yoga nidra meditations will be reformatted with music, and will remain available to you once the video links expire for as long as I maintain a Soundcloud account (which I have no plans of cancelling any time this year or next!).

There are many yoga nidra recordings available out there… Very few of them take you on a full yoga nidra journey through all of your bodies or koshas. This is what is offered here. Therapeutic Yoga for Hips & Knees, 6-week series
The hips and knees are such important parts of our anatomy as they support us in standing steadily and in moving forward confidently both literally and figuratively. Painful hips and knees can really limit our ability to move comfortably, and damper the freedom that we seek in the full enjoyment of our life.
This therapeutic yoga series is designed to address hip and knee discomfort related to conditions such as groin pull, IT band syndrome, hip bursitis, hip/knee replacement, osteoarthritis, injured ligaments (MCL, LCL, ACL, PCL), runner’s knees (PFPS), and meniscal tear. It can also be used as a preventative practice for those who occasionally experience hip or knee pain.
Using the Ajna Yoga Model for Hip and Knee Care, we will focus on:
Some of these practices will be done as a group, and there may be times for individual practice of specific poses related to your specific knee or hip issue, depending on the class participants' needs.
As a bonus, all classes of this series will be recorded so if you miss a class, you won't miss a thing! Everyone will receive the class recordings which will allow you to continue your practice at home in-between classes. Some handouts will be provided as well as needed. You will have access to the recordings until Aug. 20, 2024. If you find that the “in person” class time does not work for you, simply register using the “virtual series” option and you will receive all the class recordings.
To register for this series, please inform Daniele of any formal diagnosis you may have received from a licensed medical practitioner, physiotherapist, or chiropractor. Please bring to class a yoga mat and a couple of squash balls that you can use to massage your body. As part of this series’ registration, you will be asked to fill out a therapeutic intake form so that Daniele may assess your specific needs for this series.

Yoga for Balance and Fall Prevention - 6-week series
Maintaining our balance, whether on one or two legs, is one of those things that becomes more challenging as we age. Young people are not immune to this issue as I’ve discovered in my 10+ years as a yoga teacher. Falling can happen unexpectedly at any time, no matter what season is present.
Did you know that it is possible to prevent a fall by proactively learning to use your body in specific ways? And if you realize that you’re in the process of falling, there are ways to come out of a fall safely when on the ground.
In this series, we will learn about 5 principles that can assist us in preventing a fall or in returning to a state of balance after a fall, and these will be explored in the context of various stretches, repetitive movements, yoga postures, and flowing practices. We will also focus on building our ability to balance in actual balance poses, so if balance has been an issue for you during yoga classes, you will have an opportunity to "strengthen your balance muscle”!
